There are certain circumstances and situations where we will not be able to work on a particular child or adult for health and safety reasons. It is important for us to maintain protection to our public and staff. We hope that you will trust our judgment knowing that we wish to ensure the protection of each and every one of our customers and also our products.
Carols Colours maintain a good work ethic, a high standard of work with quality staff, professional products and follow a strict code of practice. We will arrive at your venue ready to perform the services engaged, fully equipped and insured. We hold £5m Public Liability Insurance. We can provide a copy of this to you upon request, at the time of booking, if required.
The professional make-up products, airbrush make up, temporary tattoo ink, glitters and glue, are all approved for use on the skin.

Conditions that prevent cosmetic applications.
The following diseases, disorders and conditions will prevent make-up application completely, in the area of the contra-indication, therefore we will be unable to work on anyone with the following:
- Cold Sores (complete facial area)
- Conjunctivitis or "Pink eye"
- Impetigo
- Influenza
- Active Chicken Pox
- Severe Acne
- Open Cuts, lesions, wounds and New Bruising
- Sunburn and Flaking Skin
- Any known Allergies to Make-up.
- Intolerance to Latex & Rubber - Glitter Tattoos only
- We will not tolerate Verbal Abuse, Alcohol or any other Intoxication

Conditions that restrict make-up
The following disorders and conditions will restrict make-up application, therefore we may or may not be able to work on anyone with the following:
- Styes
- Recent Chicken Pox
- Heavy Colds
- Eczema and Dermatitis
- Recent Bruising
- Children unable to sit still
- Lanolin Intolerance
- Nervous Disposition
- Very Hairy areas - Tattoos only
